KeyShot Studio is stuck with a message, "Waiting for user to login in the browser"

Issue

KeyShot Studio is stuck at the message, "Waiting for user to login in the browser..." with a loading bar.



KeyShot logs can also show the following errors:

[I] Permission cache is not present. Will fetch permissions from server.
[W] QSqlDatabasePrivate::database: requested database does not belong to the calling thread.

Environment Details

  • KeyShot Studio

    • 2026.2

Resolution

Manually quit KeyShot ID.

  1. Go to the top right of the computer screen where you should see a KeyShot icon.

  2. Click on it to bring up the option to "Log out".

  3. Close KeyShot Studio and try again.
