New AI Shots changes in 2025.3
An Overview over the new Interface for AI Shots in 2025.3
Summary
KeyShot Studio 2025.3 comes with several changes and improvements to AI Shots.
AI Shots is a new feature to mood-board new ideas, add a background which will consider the on screen geometry and affect its reflections or to restyle an existing scene.
Once installed on initial setup, it will run offline and locally, ensuring that everything remains on your device and that no data or information is sent to external servers.
With 2025.3, you have the additional option to completely disable AI Shots.
The generated images will now persist and there is option to use older prompts in new scenes.
Reusing Saved Image Generations

Double-clicking on an already generated image will open it in the larger preview with options.

You will need to double-click it once more in the small preview in order to bring up the option to switch between the generated image and original scene.
You know have the option to reuse the prompt or enter a new one for any of the options, Restyle, Background and Imagine. AI Shots will use the original scene as the input without you having to reopen the corresponding scene.
An image using the old scene will be generated, despite a different scene being currently open.
Please note that while you can increase the output resolution, the input resolution will remain the same as the one used for the utilized original generation.
