      Previews do not show for bips on MacOS Sequoia

      Preview (or thumbnail) does not show up for bip files on MacOS Sequoia

      Issue

      After saving a bip file, when looking through the files on a Mac running MacOS Sequoia, the preview thumbnails do not show. Instead it default to a KeyShot logo.

      Environment Details

        • 2024 or older
      • MacOS Sequoia

      Cause

      • The way KeyShot shows thumbnails on MacOS has been deprecated and is no longer valid on MacOS Sequoia

      Resolution

      This issue has been resolved in KeyShot 2025. If possible, it is recommended to upgrade to KeyShot 2025. If it is not possible, a workaround would be to downgrade your MacOS to an earlier version.
