Can I adjust my subscription expiration date?

I accidentally purchased a new subscription instead of renewing my existing license. Can the expiration date of the new subscription be adjusted to match the end date of my previous license?

Resolution

For clarity and consistency, we do not modify new licenses that are purchased instead of renewals. When a license renewal is intended, it must be purchased as a renewal to align with the existing expiration date.

When you purchase a new license while your current license is still active, the system creates a separate license term that begins on the new purchase date. This new term does not extend, replace, or merge with your existing license term; instead, both terms remain independent of each other.
