      Does port 3241 need to be open on the local machine that KeyShot is installed on?

      Certain ports need to be open in order for KeyShot to work. One specific port is port 3241

      Prerequisites

      • KeyShot 11 or newer
      • Subscription License

      Information

      Port 3241 needs to be open locally on the machine in which KeyShot is installed. It is used to by our CAD plugins to confirm that KeyShot is installed. It is also utilized so that users can sign into their KeyShot Cloud Accounts to activate KeyShot.
