Resolution
On Mac
This has been confirmed as a known bug that affects users on KeyShot 10.2 and Sonoma 14.4. This has been fixed on KeyShot 2024.1 or higher.
Upgrade to our newest version of KeyShot. Please reach out to sales@keyshot.com to get more information on how you can upgrade.
Workaround 1
Downgrade your macOS to an older version other than Sonoma.
Workaround 2
Try converting your files to a different format such as .stl files.
On Windows
Workaround 1
Downgrade to Solidworks 2022.
Workaround 2
Upgrade to KeyShot 2023.1 or later.
Workaround 3
Use the KeyShot Plugin for Solidworks (the plugins use a different technology than the importer and will often not have these limitations.).
