      GPU is running slow

      GPU System Runs Very Slow after Failed Status

      Issue


      A GPU rendering workers status changed to "Failed". After restarting the Worker, the Network Manager no longer reports a "Failed" status. But the system is rendering very slowly. Renders completed in less than 30 seconds. but now the same renders are taking over 10 Minutes now.



      Environment Details


      • Network Rendering
        • Any versions
      • NVIDIA A40 (NVIDIA RTX Ampere) 48GB


      Cause


      • The Manager did not get the NVIDIA license from the license server.
      • NVIDIA license was a trial, then switched to a paid license


      Resolution


      If switching from an NVIDIA trial license to a paid license on the license server, ensure to reboot the system prior to rendering new jobs.
