      KeyShot floating license won't start

      When trying to load your KeyShot floating license and it fails to start up, you can look at the Luxion log file for more information.

      1. Start Luxion License Server (if not already opened)
      2. Go to the Install License tab
      3. Click License Folder
        1. Your License folder will open.
      4. Open the Luxion log file located in that folder.

      When you open the Luxion Log file and if you happen to see any messages like the one below.

      License Manager: can't initialize: Cannot find license file.

      The license files (or license server system network addresses) attempted are listed below. Use LM_LICENSE_FILE to use a different license file, or contact your software provider for a license file.

      • Filename: "C:\flexlm\license.dat"
      • License Path: "C:\flexlm\license.dat"
      • FlexNet Licensing error: -1,359
      • System Error:2 No such file or directory
      • Using license file "C:\flexlm\license.dat"

      Can you follow the steps below to resolve the licensing issue?

      1. Open LMTOOLs and select the Luxion License Server from the list.
      2. Go to Config Services.
      3. Click on Remove Services to remove the KeyShot License.
      4. Open Luxion License Server.
      5. Click on the Install License tab.
      6. Click on New License.
      7. Select your KeyShot Floating License file.
