      How to Request a Floating License File

      How to send a license request for a floating license


      To request a KeyShot Floating license, download the License Server software, and send your information in the "Request License" tab.


      Only KeyShot product keys or serial codes that start with the letter F correspond to KeyShot Floating and KeyShot Enterprise.

      Prerequisites

      • KeyShot 
        • Any active version with current maintenance

      NOTE: We cannot provide new license files to users who are not on current maintenance

      • License Server Download
        • (Mac or Windows) Version 1.16
        • (Linux) Version 1.14

      Procedure

      1. Download the License Server tool.
      2. Install the tool and complete the form below and click "Send".

      Once we receive this information, the licensing team will provide your license, software links, and setup instructions.

      *Note* Choose a computer in your office network as the license server. Any computer in your office network can be a license server as long as it's powered on and always connected to the network.


      If you have any questions, you can create a ticket in our support portal. You will need to register for a Support Portal account if you have not yet.
