Unable to Change Job Status in KeyShot Network Monitor

Troubleshooting greyed-out job options such as Pause, Priority changes, and Delete

Issue

Users are unable to change the status of a job in the KeyShot Network Monitor. Right-click options such as Pause, Increase Priority, Decrease Priority, and Delete are greyed out and inaccessible.

Environment Details

  • KeyShot Network Monitor

  • Server Role: Both Manager and Worker

  • OS: Windows and macOS

Resolution

This issue may occur if the administrator account lacks proper permission settings within the Network Monitor interface, despite being signed in as an admin.

  1. Verify Admin Permissions in User Settings:

    • Open the KeyShot Network Monitor.

    • In the Monitor window, click on the blank space next to your Username.

    • Select User Settings from the dropdown.

    • Confirm that your user role is set to Admin.

  2. If admin rights are correctly assigned and the issue persists, please send us your Network Monitor logs so we can investigate further.

How to Locate and Send Network Monitor Logs

Please collect logs from the version of KeyShot you are currently using.

Windows:

  1. Open File Explorer.

  2. Copy and paste each of the following paths into the address bar and locate the folder named KeyShot # Network Monitor:

    • %LocalAppData%\Luxion

    • %UserProfile%\Documents

macOS:

  1. Open Finder.

  2. Click Go > Go to Folder.

  3. Enter the following path:

    • ~/Library/Application Support/Luxion/

Locate and send the KeyShot # Network Monitor folder for the version you're experiencing the issue with.
