Steps to Ensure Your GPU is Configured for Optimal Performance with KeyShot
Issue
If you are experiencing an issue with not being able to select GPU mode because it is grayed out, updating your GPU drivers is often a good first step. Ensure that your drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues.
If the problem persists after updating your drivers, check that your GPU is set as the primary card and configured for high performance.

To set the preferred GPU on Windows:

Press the Windows + I shortcut to open the Settings app and click on Display.

Under display settings, scroll down and click Graphics.

Click the Browse button and select the following, depending on how KeyShot was installed:

Installed just for me:
%localappdata%\KeyShot##\bin\keyshot.exe

Installed for everyone on this computer:
C:\Program Files\KeyShot##\bin\keyshot.exe

Click the Options button and select High Performance from the Graphics specifications drop-down menu.

Click the Save button to apply the changes.

Restart KeyShot.
