How to Change the User on a KeyShot Subscription License
This article explains how to change or reassign a KeyShot subscription license to a different user within your organization and what to prepare before requesting the transfer.
A KeyShot subscription license is assigned to a single user at a time. To reassign a license, prepare the current and target user information and ensure the target user has an active KeyShot Cloud account before requesting the transfer.
Prerequisites
- Identify the user the license is currently assigned to.
- Confirm the user who will receive the license has created a KeyShot Cloud account. New users can create an account at the KeyShot Account page.
Procedure
- Gather required information:
- The identity (email/name) of the current license holder.
- The identity (email/name) of the user who should receive the license.
- Verify the target user has a KeyShot Account (signup link above).
- Contact KeyShot Licensing Support and provide the current and new user details so the support team can perform the transfer.
Important notes
- A subscription license can only be assigned to one user per license; it cannot be shared concurrently between two users.
- Transfers must be performed by KeyShot Licensing Support—prepare the required user details to expedite the request.
