Rendering Menu or Render Queue Not Visible on Desktop Device
How to restore the Render Queue window when it appears missing or inaccessible in KeyShot.
Issue Description
A user may find that the Rendering menu or Render Queue is not visible on one device—typically the primary desktop workstation—while it appears normally on another device such as a laptop. Pressing the Render button shows it as activated, but the Render Queue window does not appear on screen.
Environment
-
KeyShot (any version)
-
Windows desktop
Cause
When the Render Queue button is pressed but no window is visible, this is commonly caused by:
1. Render Queue Window Opening Off-Screen
If multiple monitors were previously connected or a display configuration changed, the Render Queue window may open outside the visible desktop area.
2. Hidden or Detached Window State
KeyShot may remember the last window position, and if that monitor is no longer active, the queue becomes inaccessible even though the feature is still functioning.
This is a UI-positioning issue rather than a license or functionality problem.
Resolution
1. Try the Keyboard Shortcut
Press Ctrl + P.
This attempts to open the Render Queue directly.
If the button appears active but no window shows, proceed to the next step.
2. Bring the Hidden Window Back Into View (Windows)
If the Render Queue opened off-screen, you can force it back:
-
Click the Render button in KeyShot to ensure the Render Queue is the active window.
-
Press Alt + Space.
-
Press M (Move).
-
Use your arrow keys to move the window back onto the screen.
-
Once you see it, click to place it.
This method restores nearly all off-screen KeyShot windows, including the Render Queue.

If the issue persists, please contact KeyShot Support with screenshots, system information, and the license type currently activated on each device.
